Tiger Woods Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

 Tiger Woods was arrested in Jupiter, Fla. on Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence. The PGA legend was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail early Monday morning after he was arrested by police, and was released at 10:50 a.m. ET. Woods owns a home on Jupiter Island. 


Tiger Woods' 2015 Mercedes-Benz showed signs of "fresh damage" on the driver's side of the vehicle when he was found asleep at the wheel the morning of his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, police records show. Also, new documents released late Tuesday afternoon by Jupiter, Florida, police revealed that both tire rims on the driver's side of the Mercedes had minor damage and the front and rear tires on that side of the vehicle were flat.

Woods hasn’t played competitively since February when he was forced to pull out of the Dubai Desert Classic. Woods has undergone multiple back surgeries in recent years, including a fusion surgery last month. On Monday, Woods said in a statement that alcohol was not involved and that he had "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications."
