See The Top Eight Richest Men That Worth More Than HALF of the world's population

These eight richest people on the planet are worth more than the combined wealth of half the world’s population. i.e. They control as much wealth as the world's poorest 3.6 billion people, according to a new report from Oxfam International. These money bags have a combined fortune of $426billion (£351billion) compared to the $409billion (£337billion)owned by half the planet’s population, some 3.6billion people. This is insane!

Mark Goldring, Oxfam GB Chief Executive, said: “This year’s snapshot of inequality is clearer, more accurate and more shocking than ever before. He continued, "It is beyond grotesque that a group of men who could easily fit in a single golf buggy own more than the poorest half of humanity".

The men behind the wealth are Bill Gates owner of Microsoft, Warren Buffett CEO and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, Carlos Slim founder of Grupo carso conglomerate, Jeff Bezos founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Amazon.com, Mark Zuckerberg Founder of facebook, Amancio Ortega founder and former chairman of Inditex fashion group, best known for its chain of Zara clothing and accessories retail shops., Larry Ellison and Michael Bloomberg founder, CEO, and owner of Bloomberg L.P, a global financial services, mass media, and software company
