Manchester United fans took to twitter to kick-start their #VanGaalOut campaign after their side’s disappointing Europa League exit against Liverpool
United’s arch rivals secured an all-too comfortable victory after Philippe Coutinho scored a decisive away goal in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, with United fans rapidly losing out of any patience they had left with Van Gaal.

Unsurprisingly, Jose Mourinho’s name was quoted time and again on Twitter as United fans called for change at Old Trafford, with those comments likely to gather in momentum in the coming weeks.
Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed in an interview with BT Sport that he will return to football management this summer, fuelling further speculation that he could replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.
Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in December after a disastrous start to their Premier League title defence and talk that he had lost the trust of his players. He has been consistently linked with a move to Old Trafford since his departure from Stamford Bridge.
