EFCC targets Jonathan's allies, Summons Former Minister Abba Moro

The immediate past minister of Interior, Patrick Abba Moro has been summoned and is being interrogated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the March 2014 ill-fated recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service.

It will be a disservice, to sweep under the carpet, the job scandal allegation against the former Minister, which led to the death of innocent job seekers. So, operatives have to invite him for interrogation,” another EFCC official added.

Recall that over 520,000 Nigerian graduate applicants had applied for 5,000 spaces and each of them paid the sum of N1000 to write a test to get an employment slot. Unfortunately, over 15 applicants lost their lives in various recruitment centres across the country on the day of the test. Some others sustained serious injuries.
