Sports: World No. 1 Novak Djokovic welcomes baby boy


The men's tennis world no. 1 Novak Djokovic is the proud papa of a baby boy.

RTS, Serbia's state TV, said Wednesday that Djokovic's wife, Jelena, gave birth to their first child on Tuesday in Monaco where they reside. The child's name hasn't been released.

The new parents first met in high school, and they have been together for more than eight years.
They got married on July 10, four days after he won Wimbledon.

A 19-year-old Kika Onyibe, a Law student at Birmingham University, UK, passed away on Wednesday, April 12th, during a surgery for ruptured appendix in a Lagos hospital. According to her boyfriend, Emmanuel Ayoola, she had traveled to Nigeria from the UK to receive treatment for what she thought was an infection but ended up being a ruptured appendix. It was later gathered that Kika died due to complications from the surgery.
